I can't figure out why this lug was never used on a frame -- itappears to be flawless, and it is painstakingly, beautifully filed.
It must be one of the very earliest MO lugs, gauging by the flare
at the bottom for an integrated headset -- that feature was rapidly
becoming obsolete by 1950 when the MO officially debuted.
